Posted By : Nancy Robinson Posted : 5/17/2010 Comments : Dr Prussner is truly in a job that was ment for him. He treats Buster as if Buster were his own pet and I am thankful for that. He and his staff are compassionate, professional and I feel confident in the care that they give to our pet. Pets are part of the family and they treat them as such. Thank You Dr P for all you do for Buster, it is grealy appreciated! Pets Name : Buster Date of visit : April 2010 Posted By : Linda Lester (llester1@cfl.rr.com)

Posted : 7/29/2009 Comments : Beasley is a 10 month old Pug. He broke his leg after jumping off of a bed. The break was a nasty one...so nasty that no one in the area would even look at it. No one except for Dr. Jennings and Dr. Prussner. I was overwhelmed at the amount of compassion Dr. Prussner and his staff showed for Beasley and out family. It's so nice to know that are still caring people in the world...ones that put the patient before the money! Thanks so much for all that you do, and for nursing our Beasley back to health. We are forever grateful to you! Pets Name : Beasley Date of visit : 7/28/2009 Posted By : Anette Nielsen Posted : 7/3/2009 Comments : We were on vacation in FL with our dog, Chiang. He was not his usual self on the way down from Chicago (more passive, yet restless), but we thought it was an intestinal infection and so did the vet we contacted during our stay at the Keys. We had to start our journey back to Chicago after a week and that morning our dog got an antibiotic shot because the pills did not seem to work. However, he got worse that day and the following night, so we contacted Young's Animal Hospital in the morning who gave us a working appointment. When the vet first saw him, he was aware that something was definitely wrong and made him a priority. He was admitted, put in IV and Xray'ed whereby an obstruction was found in his abdomen. He had to undergo surgery and unfortunately it was a malignent tumor in the colon which had spread too much. He had to be put down. This was a very sad time for us, and I am writing this because I am afraid we were a little incoherent during our stay before he was examined as well as when he was put down. We want to convey our thanks to the hospital and its staff. We felt your love and care for animals and are grateful for that. Our dog could not have been in better hands. We also hope that the pets and their owners whose appointments were postponed were not too inconvenienced (June 12 2009). If ever you need a vet - whether during an emergency when you are on the road or in your everyday life - please do not hesitate to go to Young's. They are super professional and compassionate and have the animals' best interests at heart. I just wish I lived in Titusville if I ever decide on getting another pet. Thank you so much. Posted : 4/23/2008 Comments : I have two pomeranians, ChiChi 12 years old and Charlie 7 years old. Dr. Luna is my vet. My little Charlie became ill, vomiting. I had to have Charlie Hospitalized, Dr. Luna kept me informed every day how Charlie was doing. Eventually he had to have surgery, I was allowed to visit Charlie anytime I wanted. Dr. Luna came in to see me each time, and was very comforting, and made me feel good about Charlie's progress. Charlie is now home, and doing very well. Thanks to Dr.Luna and her staff. Posted : 4/10/2008 Comments : I have two chihuahuas, JoJo who is 2 years old, and Fergie who is approaching 6 months old. I have been taking them to see Dr. Harry Pressner. Dr. Harry and Young's assistants and technicians took exceptional care of Fergie in March when she was spayed. I felt that they all really cared about Fergie and gave her tons of loving attention; as well as, tended to my concerns post surgery. Additionally, one morning I found JoJo to be acting very strangely and worried over him until I called Young's to schedule an emergency visit. I took him to the clinic prepared to sit all day until a doctor could see him! That doctor was Dr. Gordon and he and his technicians and assistants provided excellent care to JoJo and I didn't have to wait all day. :) Thanks Young's! Posted : 9/19/2007 Comments : Bonnie shakes and shivers as soon as we get there. The staff is so friendly and great with my 13-16 year old mini schnauzer. Dr. Privette took time with me to listen to my concerns and then explain things to me. She didn't just assume what the other vet said was true. She did tests and found out that my dog had a bladder infection, low thyroid, and had 3 compressed vertebrae. The waiting room is pet friendly and offers lots of space so critters aren't all piled up on each other growling and hissing.
