Young's Animal Hospital is pleased to have the following Doctors on staff:


Dr. Camille Young

Dr. Young earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 1997 from the University of Florida, and graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.  She is a member of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA), and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).  She enjoys internal medicine cases. 

She was born in the Daytona Beach area, and moved to Titusville in 2002.  She purchased Young's Animal Hospital in 2005.

She and her husband are the proud parents of two dogs and one cat.

She enjoys boating, jet skiing, traveling, hiking, and dancing.

 

Dr. Robert Gordon

Dr. Gordon graduated from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1972.  He also spent two years in the US Army Special Forces. 

He owned a mixed practice veterinary clinic located in Greenwood, Mississippi for 9 years before moving to Florida.  He owned and operated a four-Doctor small animal clinic in New Port Richey, Florida for 24 years.  He is a member of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). 

He is the proud owner of a three-year-old Rat Terrier named "Annie", and a four-year-old cat named "Toby". 

In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, SCUBA diving, traveling with his wife Joyce, and spending time with his grandchildren, 7 year old Lindsey and 3 year old Ryan.

 

Dr. Harry Prussner

Dr. Prussner received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science & Nutrition from Colorado State University.  He received his Veterinary degree from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine located at Cornell University. 

He ran a critical care and trauma oriented practice for 31 years, and has been working with exotic animals for the past 30 years.  He has been in active practice since 1972.  He is a member of many Veterinary societies, including the Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA), American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Critical Care Veterinary Society (CCVS), and is a Board Member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP). 

In his free time, he competes in an Amateur Division Road Course auto racing circuit.  He and his wife enjoy golfing and SCUBA diving.

 Dr. Denise Henry

Dr. Henry received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2003 and graduated from the University of Georgia Veterinary School in 2010. She is a member of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. She enjoys working with exotic animals, neurology and oncology.

Dr. Henry was born and raised in California but lived in numerous cities around the country before moving to Merritt Island in 2010.

In her free time Dr. Henry enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband, daughter and one cat. She also loves to read, travel and eat.

 

Dr. Jennifer Jenkins 

Dr. Jenkins earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Furman University in 2007 and graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine (Indiana) in 2011.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.  She enjoys internal medicine cases, neurology, and behavior. 

Because she was raised as an Army brat, she was born in Germany and has lived all over the country, but considers Fayetteville, NC to be her hometown.  Dr. Jenkins recently moved to the Titusville area and so far is loving the warm weather, being close to the beach, and having lots of open road to ride her bicycle. 

In her free time, Dr. Jenkins enjoys cycling, playing soccer and rugby, running, and reading.  She also likes to travel and spend time with her favorite toy poodle “Lucky”.
